I have my roots in the furniture industry, but have over time moved into IT and product design.

For the last 2 years I have worked at Compfitt A/S, where I have mainly worked with customer specific product development, re-organizing internal work flows and IT.

In Brazil I worked freelance with product and web design and extension development for CAD systems, for customers in the furniture and kitchen industry. Before this I had my own business for 6 years in London, where the product was sliding door systems ans sales was online based. After 15 years in UK and Brazil, I now reside in Denmark.

In particular I have worked with modular furniture systems, where it is important that systems are well designed and work together, and is open for future development.

In 2004 in London I was among the first to take advantage of Google Ads, to steramline the sales process so no physical showrooms was needed. This resulted in a distribution system based on imported sliding door systems manufactures to measure in Denmark, and then installed at customers in south England. This experience opened my eyes to the relationship between product design and web strategy.

My IT skills was build though many different projects, building websites, webshops, servers and maintaining them. I am work well with Linux, which have been my primary tool for many years. See my IT toolbox for tools and applications I often use. My fundamental understanding of object-orientated programming, makes it fast for me to acquire new technologies.

In connection with design, techical documentation and graphic visuals, I often use Sketchup as the tool. Also I work with custom extensions for Sketchup, which adds particular functionality useful when working with modular systems. See mare about BoxUp extension for Sketchup here.
